Tentative Schedule

  • Friday evening: Casino Night (Mardi-Gras Theme) @ the SDSU music building, 7:00-10:00pm
    • Dinner on your own, but there will be some snacks provided.
    • Every person will be given a certain amount of "money" at the door. At the end of the evening there will be prizes for those who have made there money grow.
    • Directions: From 5/805/15 south, take 8 east and exit college avenue, at third light (Montezuma Rd) turn right, continue straight on Montezuma Rd after second light (55th St) there will be a parking structure (V) on your right side.
    • Map to Parking Structure 5 The cost to park is $1 per hour. Parking Structure 5 has permit dispenser machines on levels 1 and 2. (Click to the right for a map.)
    • Map to the Music Building Once parked follow signs toward Cox Arena. You will need to cross over 55th street. Once you see Cox arena there will be a road on the right side of it. Follow the road. There will be tennis courts on your left side. Immediately after the tennis courts there will be a small set of stairs. Go up the stairs and follow path along tennis courts. The first building you will come to will be the Music Building. There should be brightly colored signs to help you find your way.

  • Saturday: "State Day" at Mission Bay/Bonita Cove
    • Bonita Cove is a park on Mission Bay, with a small sandy beach. (It is the park area across the street from Belmont Park, for those of you who have been to SD-4.) Please dress accordingly for park/beach activities -- keeping in mind that it will be February and may still be a little cool.
    • Tentative schedule:
      10:00-10:30am Introductions/Ice Breakers
      10:30-12:30pm: Activity Stations: sand castle building contests, hoola-hooping, musical relay
      12:30-1:30pm: BBQ Lunch provided by Us (free, but donations accepted!)
      1:30-2pm: More Business
      2pm-5pm: More Activities: Band Olympics, Ultimate Frisbee
      6pm-7pm: Dinner at "Mr. G's", the traditional Marching Aztecs post-game location, consisting of all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, and soda. $7.00/person.
      8pm-?: Evening activity (either a "movie night" or rollerskating/iceskating)
    • Directions: From 5/805/15 south, take 8 west, exit West Mission Bay Dr./Sports Arena Blvd, turn right onto West Mission Bay Dr., Go straight for .7 miles then follow ramp on right to West Mission Bay Dr., at second light Mariners Way turn left, park on the left side of the parking lot and you should see a large group of people wearing letters.

  • Sunday: Breakfast at 9am, (Location To Be Announced)

What to pack: Money, clothes, sleeping stuff, and toiletries.
